NCAA Game Summary - Illinois at Stony Brook (Wednesday, March 17th) Final Score: Illinois 76, Stony Brook 66 Stony Brook, NY (Sports Network) - Demetri McCamey racked up 16 points, 11 assists and nine rebounds to lead the top-seeded Illinois Fighting Illini to a 76-66 victory over the eighth-seeded Stony Brook Seawolves in the first round of the 2010 NIT. Mike Davis netted 17 points for Illinois (20-14), which will take on Kent State in the second round. The Illini also got 16 points from D.J. Richardson. Bryan Dougher nailed five three-pointers en route to 21 points in defeat for Stony Brook (22-10). Stony Brook jumped out to an early 7-0 lead, but Illinois finally got on track and managed to grab a 38-36 halftime edge. The Illini opened the second half with a 10-2 run and never trailed in the final stanza.
