Description: Receiver Emmanuel Sanders was Peyton Mannings No. 1 receiver Thursday night catching all nine targets for 120 yards and three scores.
Insight: Sanders has mostly been used as a "move-the-chains-guy" with Demaryius Thomas and Julius Thomas doing the scoring - until Thursday night. He is averaging 90 yards per game receiving.
10/20/2014 10:49:00 AM
Description: Receiver Emmanuel Sanders had his second consecutive poor yardage total, but did score to make his fantasy numbers more palatable.
Insight: Sanders has caught just three balls in each of the last two games, after averaging 8.6 recpetions and 119.3 yards for the previous three contests.
10/13/2014 5:49:00 PM
Description: Receiver Emmanuel Sanders was the forgotten man in the Broncos receiving game on Sunday against the Jets.
Insight: Unless it is a close game, it is hard for Peyton Manning to share the ball enough with all his weapons. Demaryius Thomas had 10 catches, 124 yards and a touchdown, Julius Thomas caught two touchdowns and Ronnie Hillman ran 24 times for 100 yards. Sanders was third on the team with three receptions and 38 yards.
10/6/2014 9:46:00 AM
Description: Although it was Demaryius Thomas' breakout game, Broncos receiver Emmanuel Sanders still posted decent totals.
Insight: Sanders caught seven of nine targets for 101 yards, though none went for touchdowns. He's now posted three consecutive 100-yard games.

Description: Broncos receiver Emmanuel Sanders is reaping the benefit of teams keying on Demaryius Thomas.
Insight: Sunday, Sanders caught 11 of 15 targets for 149 yards, but didn't get into the end zone. That's the difference between Sanders and Thomas ... Thomas can take any reception 80 yards for a score and Sanders is basically a possession receiver.
9/16/2014 2:10:00 PM
Description: Broncos receiver Emmanuel Sanders is tied with Demaryius Thomas for team high targets with 18 through two games.
Insight: Sanders has been a big part of the offense over the first two weeks with 14 catches for 185 yards, but he hasn't scored which limits his fantasy value. The return of Wes Welker will likely force a significant drop in his opportunities and when Welker is in midseason form Sanders may lose most of his fantasy value as the team's fourth receiver.
9/5/2014 9:06:00 PM
Description: Broncos receiver Emmanuel Sanders (thigh) is listed as probable for Sunday night's game against the Colts.
Insight: Sanders has been dealing with a thigh issue all week, but he was never in doubt to play on Sunday. He will start in place of Wes Welker and play in the slot on three-wide sets. We expect him to have a big day.
3/16/2014 9:37:00 AM
Description: Emmanuel Sanders' new deal with the Broncos should become official later today. However, according to NFL.com's Ian Rapoport, Sanders had already agreed to a contract with Kansas City before Denver came into the picture.
Insight: An anonymous team official has accused Sanders' agent Steve Weinberg of breaking "every rule in negotiations." Supposedly, Weinberg accepted a deal from the Chiefs before opening negotiations with Tampa Bay and Denver. He also blew off a meeting with San Francisco. Weinberg is already on thin ice after a series of violations in the early 2000s and this sequence of events should only further damage his reputation. Fantasy-wise, it's an ideal spot for Sanders who will now be catching passes from Peyton Manning. He'll be replacing Eric Decker, who put up 1,288 yards and 11 TD last season.
3/15/2014 9:24:00 PM
Description: According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Broncos are expected to sign former Pittsburgh wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders.

Description: Steelers wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders (knee) will be a game-time decision in Week 17 against the Browns, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
Insight: Sanders said he is "50-50" to play after injuring his knee in Week 16. The 26-year-old has a touchdown catch in four of the last five games.
12/22/2013 6:21:00 PM

11/20/2013 6:42:00 PM
Description: Steelers wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders (foot) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice, according to Scott Petrak of chroniclet.com.
Insight: Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said Tuesday that Sanders would be limited in practice this week, so his full participation Wednesday is a sign that his foot injury is even less serious than the team thought. Sanders is only a fantasy option in PPR leagues.
11/19/2013 5:16:00 PM
Description: Steelers wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders said his foot injury isn't serious, according to ESPN.com.
Insight: Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said Sanders will be limited in practice this week but he is "encouraged" about his status for Sunday's game against the Browns. Sanders is only a fantasy option in PPR leagues.

Description: Steelers wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders suffered a foot injury in Pittsburgh's Week 11 game against the Lions. His return is questionable.

7/28/2013 9:31:00 PM
Description: Steelers wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders has been displaying eye-opening speed in training camp, according to scout.com.
Insight: Sanders says he's always been fast, but didn't have as much of an opportunity to show it because of injuries and because straight-line speed is not as relevant in the slot where Sanders mostly played. "In the past two years I’ve had two foot surgeries and I had a torn knee," he said. "That’s all lower body. And for the first time I’m actually healthy. Have I gained some speed? Could that be the reason why? Potentially. When a guy has two foot surgeries, he can’t run. A guy has knee surgery, he can’t run. So this off-season I had a full off-season of working hard. I got to do whatever I want: squat, run as much as I wanted to. And it feels good." With Mike Wallace taking his talents to South Beach and Heath Miller trying to come back from three torn knee ligaments, Sanders is primed for a big year.
7/18/2013 10:06:00 AM
Description: Steelers wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders said in recent interviews that the team is "expecting 70 catches for 1,000 yards" in production this season.
Insight: With Mike Wallace signing with the Dolphins, Sanders will play a major role in the Pittsburgh passing game and both the reception and yardage goals would be career highs. His current fantasyfootballcalculator.com ADP is 113.

Description: The Steelers have decided to match the one-year, $2.5 million offer sheet the Patriots gave restricted free agent Emmanuel Sanders. SOURCE: USA Today
Insight: Ben Roethlisberger was campaigning for the Steelers to bring Sanders back, and the team did just that rather than accept the Patriots' third-round pick as compensation. With Mike Wallace signing with the Dolphins, Sanders will have more fantasy value with the Steelers than he would have had with New England.
