Description: New England halfback Brandon Bolden will be a healthy scratch Monday night against Carolina.
Insight: Whatever usefulness Bolden may have had has now vanished with Shane Vereen back in the lineup. He shouldn't be owned in fantasy unless one of the Patriots' top backs (Vereen and Stevan Ridley) gets hurt.

Description: Patriots halfback Brandon Bolden surprised fantasy owners with a breakout game in Week 4 against Buffalo. He finished the afternoon with 137 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries.
Insight: Five-foot-11, 220-pound undrafted running back out of Ole Miss ... sound familiar? Bolden is like a BenJarvus Green-Ellis clone. There's no way the Patriots will be able to run this efficiently every week but if Bolden can turn in a few more efforts like this, he'll certainly begin to warrant some fantasy consideration.
