Description: The Magic have waived forward Hakim Warrick hours after acquiring him from the Bobcats for Josh McRoberts.
Insight: Warrick was never expected to stick with Orlando. He can be ignored in fantasy leagues even if he catches on with another organization.
1/18/2013 10:02:00 PM
Description: Bobcats forward Hakim Warrick has scored in double figures in three of the last four games. He had 15 with five rebounds and one steal Friday against Orlando.
Insight: Warrick has settled into a role as the starting power forward with Byron Mullens sidelined with an ankle injury. Mullens is on his way back so Warrick likely won't have to job much longer.
1/9/2013 11:00:00 AM
Description: Charlotte forward Hakim Warrick has been upgraded to probable for Wednesday's game against Utah. Illness kept him out of Sunday's game with Detroit.
Insight: Warrick was averaging 11 ppg over his last five games and should be able to continue at that level until starter Byron Mullen (sprained ankle) returns from injury. Mullen is out of the walking boot, but his return date is unknown.
1/7/2013 10:54:00 AM
Description: Charlotte forward Hakim Warrick is questionable for Wednesday's game against Utah because of the same illness that kept him out of Sunday's game with Detroit.
Insight: Warrick has averaged 11 ppg and six rpg over his last five games. Even if Warrick keeps this up when he returns, he's a borderline fantasy player at best.

Description: Charlotte forward Hakim Warrick is out for Sunday's game in Detroit because of an illness.
Insight: Warrick has averaged 11 ppg and six rpg over his last five games. Even if Warrick keeps this up, he's a borderline fantasy player at best.
12/28/2012 10:24:00 PM
Description: Bobcats forward Hakim Warrick has justified his starting spot the last two games by averaging 15.5 ppg and 6.5 rpg.
Insight: Warrick has assumed a larger role on the team with Byron Mullens (ankle) out for an extended period. Mullens could miss a month so Warrick could be worth a look in deeper leagues. However, he won't help in categories outside of points and rebounds.
7/28/2012 9:03:00 PM
Description: Forward Hakim Warrick was sent to the Hornets Friday as part of a three-team trade between Minnesota, New Orleans and Phoenix.
Insight: Warrick (6.4 ppg, 2.6 rpg in 35 games for the Suns in 2011-12) isn't likely to see many minutes behind Anthony Davis and Ryan Anderson. You can ignore Warrick in fantasy leagues next season.
3/14/2011 10:38:00 PM
Description: Hakim Warrick is quickly falling out of favor with his poor play that yielded only six points, eight boards, and a steal in the start.
Insight: This is what he does and his value has to take a major hit once Channing Frye returns from his shoulder injury. Guys like Tyler Hansbrough are a much better option.
3/11/2011 12:01:00 PM
Description: Warrick came up with 12 points and five rebounds Thursday night, a game after his 32-point breakout.
Insight: Looks like a dose of reality on the sudden fantasy phenomenon. The next few games should show us whether these numbers reflect what we should expect or if Warrick will settle in somewhere in between. (RapidDraft.com)
3/9/2011 1:03:00 AM
Description: Warrick poured in 32 points Tuesday night in his first start in place of the injured Channing Frye.
Insight: The sixth-year pro has never averaged more than 12.7 points a game over a full season, but he's well worth an add right now to see what he might do as a starter for Phoenix. Warrick also went for eight rebounds and four assists Tuesday. (RapidDraft.com)
3/8/2011 11:11:00 PM
Description: Hakim Warrick absolutely went off in Tuesday's win over the red-hot Rockets with 32 points on 14-of-19 shooting, eight boards, four assists, and a steal in a whopping 40 minutes.
Insight: Wow. Warrick hasn't had an impact like this since he blocked Kansas' last-second attempt in the NCAA Championship. When a guy drops 32 in his first start, you know what to do. Although, Warrick has been inconsistent all year, so owners should not cut any reliable assets just yet.
12/6/2010 9:03:00 AM
Description: Warrick had a team-high 26 points off the Suns bench to help Phoenix beat Washington. He was 10-for-13 from the field.
Insight: Warrick had only played a combined 16 minutes in the previous two games and had gone scoreless in his previous game. His fantasy relevance is on a game-to-game basis. (RapidDraft.com)
12/6/2010 12:39:00 AM
Description: Hakim Warrick had beast of a game with 26 points and six rebounds in 29 minutes.
Insight: Those that have owned him for the past couple week have seen some highs and some lows. He doesn't do much outside of points and is only an option in deep leagues.
11/27/2010 12:40:00 PM
Description: Hakim Warrick had his second productive game in a row with 25 points, six rebounds, and a steal in 37 minutes. Channing Frye had a beast of a line with 16 points, five boards, four threes, four blocks, and two steals.
Insight: Frye's line is an absolute gem and he has to be owned in all leagues right now. Warrick is not too valuable since he doesn't really add blocks, steals, or threes. However, he's worth a roster spot in deeper leagues.
11/27/2010 7:01:00 AM
Description: Warrick had 25 points including a 13-for-14 performance from the free throw line in the win over the Clippers.
Insight: Warrick has 48 points in his last two games and has been a decent scoring option from the Suns' bench. He is averaging 13.1 points. (RapidDraft.com)
11/25/2010 9:30:00 AM
Description: Hakim Warrick came out smoking in the first half for 23 quick points, then failed to score in the second half.
Insight: He added seven boards in a total of 36 minutes in this one. He's far to inconsistent to be considered a must-add and unlike Channing Frye, Warrick is not pulling away from the injury Robin Lopez.
11/25/2010 9:05:00 AM
Description: Warrick had 23 points off the Suns' bench in their double-overtime loss to Chicago. He was 7-for-12 from the field.
Insight: Warrick had only scored 31 points in his four previous games. His production is inconsistent, so if you feel like rolling the dice on a particular game, you should. (RapidDraft.com)
11/18/2010 11:19:00 PM
Description: Hakim Warrick had his second ugly game in a row with just five points, three boards, and two steals.
Insight: Frye is obviously the best big to own in Phoenix, but the disparity wasn't expected to be this large. The Suns have another bad matchup when they take on the Bobcats on Saturday. If there's a decent player to add on the wire, then go ahead and apply the scissors to Mr. Warrick.
11/16/2010 12:00:00 PM
Description: Warrick continued to play well off the Phoenix bench. He had a team-high 21 points on 7-for-9 shooting.
Insight: Warrick's game seems tailor-made to play with Steve Nash. He has outstanding ups and can score in a variety of ways if given the ball in the right place. He is averaging 13.1 points. (RapidDraft.com)
11/15/2010 11:40:00 PM
Description: Hakim Warrick went point for point with his college teammate Carmelo Anthony as he led the Suns with 21 points on 7-of-9 shooting.
Insight: Warrick is not going to do much outside of score and grab some boards, but with Steve Nash getting him the rock he should produce some high field goal percentages. Frye is the better add, but don't be afraid to grab Hakim.
