Description: Warriors guard Shaun Livingston will not play Tuesday. He's just being rested.
Insight: Livingston isn't fantasy worthy, but his absence should give Stephen Curry more minutes on the floor and that's always a good thing for fantasy owners. Andre Iguodala could also see more time as the Warriors are limiting Klay Thompson's PT after just returning from an injury.

Description: Warriors guard Shaun Livingston will start on Sunday in place of the injured Stephen Curry.
Insight: Livingston is worth considering for daily leagues as he has a favorable matchup versus the Pacers. Livingston averaged 9.1 ppg, 3.6 rpg and 3.3 apg as a starter in Brooklyn last season. Livingston's value doesn't seem to be long-term as Curry should return to the court soon.

Description: Golden State guard Shaun Livingston will open the season as the backup point guard, behind superstar Stephen Curry.
Insight: Last season with the Nets, Livingston aaveraged 8.3 points per game, 3.2 assists per game, 3.2 rebounds per game, 1.2 steals per game, while shooting 48 percent from the field and 83 percent from the line. We feel that he could be right around those numbers in 2014-15, with possibly a slight decrease. If owners want Livingston on their teams, he should be target at the end of drafts.

Description: Shaun Livingston has agreed to a deal with the Golden State Warriors.
Insight: Livingston will get a three-year deal for the full mid-level exception. He can start at shooting guard if the team trades Klay Thompson for Kevin Love or serve as a backup to both guard spots. Either way, he's more valuable in real life than fantasy. In 76 games with the Nets last season, Livingston averaged 26 minutes but just 8.3 points, 3.2 assists, 3.2 rebounds, 1.2 steals and zero threes.

Description: Brooklyn guard Shaun Livingston (foot) will miss Friday's game, according to Tim Bontemps of the New York Post.
Insight: Livingston has played 28.6 minutes per game over his last 45 games but doesn't do enough to be a fantasy factor. With Deron Williams and Livingston both out, Jorge Gutierrez and Alan Anderson will get the majority of the backcourt minutes.

Description: Brooklyn guard Shaun Livingston will start Wednesday's game against Portland. He sat out Sunday because of a back/tailbone injury. SOURCE: Rod Boone, Newsday
Insight: Livingston's return will likely bump Andrei Kirilenko out of the starting lineup. Though Livingston has definitely given the Nets a boost with his play this season, his fantasy contributions have been minimal (7.7 ppg, 3.1 apg, 3.2 rpg).
2/25/2014 4:40:00 PM
Description: Nets guard Shaun Livingston (bruised tailbone) will be a game-time decision Wednesday against the Trail Blazers.
Insight: Livingston missed his first game of the season Sunday night. He has averaged just 24 minutes, 5.9 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.4 assists his last seven games and the Nets just acquired Marcus Thornton, so there's no reason to hold Livingston in fantasy leagues.

2/4/2014 5:18:00 PM

Description: Former Cavs and Wizards point guard Shaun Livingston signed with Brooklyn on Saturday. SOURCE: Marc Stein, ESPN
Insight: It's a one-year deal for the veteran's minimum. The lanky point guard averaged 6.3 ppg and 3.3 apg last season. Those numbers are almost identical to his career averages (6.7 ppg and 3.5 apg). Despite being just 27 years of age, Livingston is already on his eighth NBA team.
4/15/2013 7:05:00 PM
Description: Cavs point guard Shaun Livingston is back in the lineup after missing Sunday's matchup with Philadelphia because of back spasms.
Insight: The fact that Livingston is indeed active should go a long way Monday with so much of the league taking the night off to rest before the postseason. Double-digit points shouldn't be too much to ask of Livingston against a depleted Miami team.
