Description: Gary Washburn of the Boston Globe reports that the Celtics are on the verge of signing former Nets and Rockets guard Terrence Williams.
Insight: Williams was cut by the Pistons in preseason and hasn't been able to secure a job since. Williams (7.6 ppg in 129 career games) gives Boston some depth but he won't be a factor on the fantasy side of things.

Description: Terrence Williams had a double-double on Monday, scoring 12 points and grabbing 12 rebounds.
Insight: Williams has been doing a little of everything since joining Sacramento, averaging 8.3 points, pulling down 4.3 rebounds, dishing out 2.2 assists and contributing 1.2 steals per game in six games. He's playing close to 20 minutes per game with his new team, so he's a player worth watching to see if his role increases.

Description: After being released by Houston, it looks like Terrence Williams is headed to Sacramento. The small forward has signed a ten-day contract with the Kings.
Insight: There is a reason that Williams was waived by Houston: he's not very good. We'd be shocked if he has any fantasy value at all, even on the Kings.

Description: Terrence Williams was active for Sunday's game, but did not leave the bench.
Insight: They traded for him, so you'd have to think they will give him a shot at some point. It doesn't seem like that will be until 2011 at the soonest. Ignore him in all leagues for now.

Description: Williams is reportedly headed to Houston as part of a three-team deal.
Insight: Williams is a very talented player, but he will need to earn minutes behind Kevin Martin and Shane Battier in Houston. It's hard to see that this trade will help him in the short term. (RapidDraft.com)

Description: The Nets have sent Terrence Williams to Houston in exchange for Sasha Vujacic and two future first round picks.
SOURCE: Bergen Record
Insight: His value was floundering in Jersey and this change could do him some good. He should have been owned in most leagues to begin with, but if he is out there, be sure to pick him up.
12/10/2010 11:04:00 AM
Description: Williams returned to the Nets with six points, four assists, and two steals.
Insight: Williams could be used to facilitate the offense if Devin Harris misses time with his sprained shoulder. The 6-foot-6 small forward is very versatile and can bring good fantasy numbers if he earns playing time. (RapidDraft.com)
12/9/2010 11:12:00 PM
Description: Terrence Williams returned from his stint in the D League to hand in a mediocre line of six points, two boards, four assists, and two steals in 26 minutes.
Insight: This line shouldn't be too discouraging and the best is yet to come from one of the best players on the Nets last season. He can help in a lot of categories and should be owned in most leagues.
12/8/2010 11:02:00 AM
Description: Williams has been recalled from the NBDL by the Nets, according to the New York Daily News. In three D-league games, Williams averaged 28 points, 11.3 rebounds, and 10.7 assists.
Insight: Talent has never been an issue for the former Louisville Cardinal. His problem has been with attitude. If he brings a triple-double attitude to the Nets, he could be a wise pick up in fantasy leagues. (RapidDraft.com)

Description: Terrence Williams' recent ab strain injury will make him a game-time decision in Tuesday's game.
SOURCE: YES Network
Insight: The good news is that it is an early game and fantasy owners should know whether or not he will dress before the rosters lock. He's not a must-start, so it might be a good idea to keep him on the bench should you have better options.
10/29/2010 10:18:00 PM
Description: Terrence Williams lost a little bit of his luster by playing just 11 minutes and scoring only three with not much else.
Insight: Uh oh. Travis Outlaw was the best player on the wing for Jersey with 18 points in 31 minutes. Anthony Morrow struggled in his 34 minutes (four points and no threes). This situation could get a bit ugly, but it looks like Morrow is going to be the most valuable. Williams is a nice buy-low since this line destroyed his value.
10/16/2010 8:43:00 PM
Description: Terrence Williams with his 16 points, six rebounds, two assists, and two threes over 31 minutes was not exactly outdone by Anthony Morrow's 19 on 6-of-9 from the floor (including making all of his threes).
Insight: Williams and Morrow are slugging it out to be the second option in the backcourt for New Jersey. Both would be fine as the sixth man for Jersey and are worthy of a pick near 100.
9/30/2010 12:58:00 PM
Description: Terrence Williams is competing with Anthony Morrow for the New Jersey starting shooting guard.
Insight: Williams had a huge finish last year and even posted a triple-double. He should not have a problem edging Morrow and is likely to see about 30 MPG. As of right now, Anthony Morrow doesn't appear to be the type of player to fit in Avery Johnson's system coming from the up-tempo Warriors.
