Description: According to Comcast Sports New England, the Celtics are interested in signing free agent point guard Jannero Pargo.
Insight: Pargo (4.0 ppg, 2.4 apg) has bounced around a bit this season popping up in Washington and then later with Atlanta. He probably won't have much fantasy value in Boston but he'd at least take a little bit of the pressure off Avery Bradley, Courtney Lee and Jason Terry, who are all working overtime now that Rajon Rondo and Leandro Barbosa are both out for the season.

Description: The Hornets have waived backup guard Jannero Pargo.
Insight: He's coming off of knee surgery and is a lifetime 38 percent shooter, so fantasy owners need not care where he lands. (RapidDraft.com)

Description: Pargo is returning to New Orleans after signing a deal with the Hornets.
Insight: Pargo played in New Orleans from 2006 to 2008 and averaged 9.2 points in 2006-07. He'll back up Chris Paul and won't have much fantasy value. (RapidDraft.com)

Description: Contrary to earlier reports, Jannero Pargo is still not signed by the Warriors.
SOURCE: Contra Costa Times
Insight: It was reported over a week ago, so it's a little surprising that the Warriors are so reluctant. Last we checked, any Warrior can become relevant to fantasy in the blink of an eye. He's not worth drafting, but could emerge quickly.

Description: The Warriors have signed Jannero Pargo to a two-year, $2.4 million deal.
Insight: Pargo had a couple good games while Hinrich was injured, and every fantasy owner knows how guys can come out of the woodwork to become valuable in Golden State. He'll probably need Monta or Curry to miss time, but Pargo has potential.
