Insight: Hamilton was excellent in the series versus the Red Sox over the weekend. He had a double and RBI on Thursday and then a pair of home runs on Friday. In the four games, he also had five RBI. Don't look now, but Hamilton may be on his way back to being fantasy relevant.

Insight: A four-person panel is currently split on whether he should enter rehab. An arbitrator will join the group to break the tie. It is also possible that the league considers Hamilton a fourth-time offender, which would mean a year-long suspension. New commissioner Rob Manfred, however, will ultimately make that decision. To say there is major risk in drafting Hamilton for your fantasy team this season seems to be the understatement of the year.

Description: Angels general manager Jerry Dipoto told the Los Angeles Times on Friday that left fielder Josh Hamilton could miss up to 12 weeks with his shoulder injury.
Insight: Hamilton's original timetable was six-to-eight weeks, so that's quite a difference. The weird thing is Hamilton hasn't suffered a setback; Dipoto has simply just changed the prognosis. This situation just indicates that the Angels really have no idea when Hamilton will be back, and he may not return until May.
