Description: Padres right-hander Ross Ohlendorf will start Saturday at Oakland as Andrew Cashner gets stretched out in the minors.
Insight: Ohlendorf went 12-21 with a solid 3.98 ERA in 50 starts with Pittsburgh in 2009-10, so he might have some value in San Diego if he was staying in the rotation. However, Cashner will come back soon and Ohlendorf will be back in the bullpen. He doesn't even make for a good streaming option Saturday, as San Diego likely won't let him throw many innings.

Description: Ross Ohlendorf allowed six runs last night and fell to 0-4 in spring training.

Insight: Ohlendorf improved his K/9 rate and his HR/9, but his Hits/9 and BB/9 both went up. He certainly desevred better than a 1-11 record, but wins are tough to come by in Pittsburgh. If he stays healthy in 2011, and gets his walk rate back down, he is a late-round flier in NL-only leagues.
