Description: Left fielder Nate McLouth has signed a two-year contract with the Nationals. SOURCE: Ken Rosenthal, Fox Sports
Insight: The deal is worth $10.75 million. It's a lot of money to give a backup outfielder but when you consider Jayson Werth's injury history as well as Bryce Harper's, it could end up being a wise move. McLouth doesn't hit for much power (just 12 HR last season) but he's got decent speed (30 steals on 37 attempts in 2013).
