Richmond, VA (Sports Network) - Frantz Massenat scored 20 points and Samme Givens had a double-double of 12 points and 12 rebounds as the top-seeded Drexel Dragons punched its ticket to the Colonial Athletic Association Tournament title game with a dominating 68-51 win over the fourth-seeded Old Dominion Monarchs at Richmond Coliseum.
Damion Lee put in 17 points and Chris Fouch added 16 for Drexel (27-5) which will face off will face off with second-seed Virginia Commonwealth in the title game.
Chris Cooper and Kent Bazemore each scored 12 points to pace Old Dominion (20-13) with Cooper also pulling down 10 rebounds.
Drexel opened the game on a 15-3 run over the first 10 and a half minutes of play and went into the break leading 27-17 by holding the Monarchs to just 26.8 percent shooting in the first half.
The Dragons shot 48.0 percent from the floor over the final twenty minutes and led by as many as 19 as they coasted into the tournament finale.
Drexel held a 40-37 edge on the boards and outscored the Monarchs by a 24-9 margin from the three point line.
