(Wednesday, January 16) Final Score: Kent State 80, Buffalo 68 Buffalo, NY (Sports Network) - Randal Holt scored a team-high 27 points as the Kent State Golden Flashes defeated the Buffalo Bulls, 80-68, in Mid-American Conference action at Alumni Arena. Holt was a perfect 5-of-5 from beyond the arc in the Golden Flashes' (11-6, 2-1 MAC) second straight win. Chris Evans recorded a double-double scoring 25 points to go with 14 rebounds. Devareaux Manley scored 10 points off the bench. For the Bulls (5-12, 0-3), Javon McCrea recorded a double-double scoring a game-high 33 points to go with 10 boards. He was the only player in double- figures as Buffalo lost its fourth game in a row. Kent State started the game out on a 8-3 run and never gave up the lead, en route to a 40-36 advantage at the half. Kent State made 11-of-24 from the floor including 4-of-8 from long range while limiting the Bulls to a mere 2-of-12 from beyond the arc in the second half.
