Description: Rams running back Tre Mason rushed 11 times for just 28 yards in Week 17. He also caught three balls for 29 yards.
Insight: It's tough to run the ball with no passing game to distract defenders and it's even tougher against the best defense in the league - Seattle.

Description: Rams running back Tre Mason rushed for 117 yards and two touchdowns against the Raiders.
Insight: Mason gained most of those yards on a 89-yard touchdown in the second quarter. He scored again from eight yards away in the fourth. Mason is past most of the tough running matchups this season and could be an option in deeper leagues for the playoffs.

11/16/2014 7:47:00 PM
Description: Rams running back Tre Mason had a career-high 29 carries for 113 yards versus the Broncos.
Insight: He didn't rush for a very good average, but Mason fantasy owners will take the 113 yards rushing. Mason has clearly become the Rams workhorse back.

11/9/2014 6:50:00 PM
Description: Rams running back Tre Mason limped off the field in the fourth quarter and is being checked out by trainers.
Insight: Mason leads the Rams rushing attack with 48 yards on 14 carries.

Description: Coach Jeff Fisher once again declared that the Rams will use a committee at running back.
Insight: It is tough to take him seriously, as Tre Mason had 19 of the 23 carries, Rams' tailbacks received on Sunday. Fisher can continue to say whatever he wants, but owners need to assume Mason is the lead back for now.

11/2/2014 7:41:00 PM
Description: Rams running back Tre Mason had 19 carries for 65 yards against the 49ers.
Insight: Mason had more carries than all the other Rams running backs combined, so he is clearly the favored back in St. Louis at this point. He is still doing very little with the opportunity.

10/26/2014 5:46:00 PM
Description: Rams running back Tre Mason did not contribute much on Sunday.
Insight: After breaking out for 85 yards and a touchdown during Week 7, Mason had only seven carries for 32 yards, and one catch for one yard. The tailback situation in St. Louis continues to be extremely cloudy, making it a tough call for fantasy owners every week.

10/22/2014 2:14:00 PM
Description: Coach Jeff Fisher stated that "it'll be a week-to-week thing" at running back, as the season progresses.
Insight: This is terrible news for owners who own Tre Mason, Zac Stacy, or Benny Cunningham. Mason shined during Week 7, but it is anybody's guess who will play well moving forward.

Hot10/19/2014 6:35:00 PM
Description: Rookie Tre Mason has become the Rams primary running back.
Insight: Mason rushed 18 times for 85 yards and a touchdown. He's taken over for Zac Stacy who no longer has a role in the offense. Benny Cunningham is the team's receiving back.

10/14/2014 12:29:00 AM
Description: Rookie Tre Mason was finally active for a game and led the team in rushing with 40 yards on five carries.
Insight: He also caught one for 12 yards. Mason is third on the depth chart behind Zac Stacy and Benny Cunningham, but itsa nice to see him get on the field and produce.

Description: Rookie Tre Mason is inactive for Week 1 versus Minnesota.
Insight: Mason is third on the depth chart behind Zac Stacy and Benny Cunningham, so his fantasy value would be very limited anyway.
