Description: Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco threw one touchdown in Week 10's victory over the Titans.
Insight: He threw for only 169 yards, but did not throw an interception. Flacco is a borderline QB1, depending on matchups.

Description: Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco threw the ball 45 times and totaled 303 yards and a pair of touchdown passes.
Insight: He spread it around to 10 different receivers, but his numbers paled against Ben Roethlisberger.

Description: Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco was completely ineffective in Sunday's loss to the Bengals.
Insight: After throwing for a total of seven touchdowns over the previous two weeks, Flacco threw for only 195 yards, no scores, and two interceptions during Week 8. Flacco will remain a borderline QB1, moving forward.

10/19/2014 6:10:00 PM
Description: Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco was disappointing for fantasy owners hoping for an encore after last week's five touchdown performance in the first half.
Insight: Flacco did throw a deep touchdown pass to Torrey Smith to help pad his stats. The former Fighting Blue Hen threw for 258 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions.

10/12/2014 5:20:00 PM
Description: Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco was extremely impressive in Sunday's win over Tampa Bay.
Insight: He threw for five touchdowns in the first half, and finished the afternoon with 306 yards and a 146.0 passer rating. Owners who started Flacco, were handsomely rewarded.

9/21/2014 5:15:00 PM
Description: Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco managed the Ravens to a victory against the Browns on Sunday.
Insight: He was 19 for 31 with 217 yards, one touchdown and one interception, with an average of only 7.0 yards per completion. It is becoming evident that Flacco will not be a game-changing, fantasy quarterback. He is a QB2 moving forward.

9/7/2014 6:20:00 PM
Description: Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco threw the ball 62 times for 345 yards and a touchdown.
Insight: I got tired just watching him. He was also sacked three times. There is no way he survives the season if he passes the ball 992 times (62x16).

8/23/2014 9:50:00 PM
Description: Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco was 16-of-23 for 180 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's preseason game against the Redskins.
Insight: Flacco led Baltimore to three first-half scoring drives and struck a wide open Steve Smith for a 30-yard touchdown. The quarterback is 29-of-45 for 345 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions this preseason. Flacco is a worthy QB2.

Description: Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco (knee) ended up having an MRI and it revealed a "mild" MCL sprain, but that won't stop him in this huge matchup with the Patriots.

Description: Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco (knee) ended up having an MRI and it revealed a "mild" MCL sprain, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. He's expected to play in Week 16, but will wear a brace against the Patriots.
Insight: Flacco suffered the injury Monday when Detroit's DeAndre Levy fell forward into his left knee. "It wasn't really bothering me once the initial hit," Flacco said Monday night, via the Baltimore Sun's Jeff Zrebiec. "I was probably more scared than anything from just what I felt and also just trying to get a couple of yards out of it. Yeah, it feels fine. It feels strong." Flacco hasn't exceeded 20 fantasy points in a game this season and is averaging 12.6 fantasy points per game.

Description: Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco (knee) practiced Wednesday in a limited capacity and should play in Week 16 against the Patriots.
Insight: Flacco suffered a left knee injury Monday when Detroit's DeAndre Levy fell forward into it. However, he didn't even need an MRI. "It wasn't really bothering me once the initial hit," Flacco said Sunday night, via the Baltimore Sun's Jeff Zrebiec. "I was probably more scared than anything from just what I felt and also just trying to get a couple of yards out of it. Yeah, it feels fine. It feels strong." Flacco hasn't exceeded 20 fantasy points in a game this season and is averaging 12.6 fantasy points per game.

10/13/2013 7:01:00 PM
Description: Baltimore QB Joe Flacco (20-for-34, 342 yds, 2 TD Sunday against the Packers) has now thrown for at least 300 yards in two of his last three games.
Insight: Unfortunately for Flacco, both of those 300-yard efforts have come in Ravens losses. Flacco isn't usually prone to throwing interceptions but this season, he's actually tossed more picks (eight) than touchdowns (seven).

9/29/2013 6:17:00 PM
Description: Sunday was a day Joe Flacco will want to forget. He tossed a career-high five interceptions in a loss to Buffalo.
Insight: Flacco had thrown five interceptions in his previous 12 games before Sunday's disastrous outing. Flacco's 46.4 quarterback rating on Sunday was his worst since Week 7 against Houston last season (45.4).

3/1/2013 8:25:00 PM
Description: Joe Flacco's new deal with the Baltimore Ravens is worth $120.6 million over six years, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Insight: The contract makes Flacco the highest-paid player in NFL history. Flacco may have proven himself as a clutch player in winning the Super Bowl but he hasn't put up the regular season stats to warrant taking him as a top 10 fantasy quarterback.

3/1/2013 6:26:00 PM
Description: Less than one month after winning the Super Bowl, QB Joe Flacco has reportedly agreed to a long-term contract with the Ravens, according to Jay Glazer of FOX Sports. The deal will be signed on Monday.
Insight: Flacco (22-for-33, 287 yards, 3 TD in the Super Bowl) produced arguably the greatest postseason ever by an NFL quarterback in 2012, throwing 11 touchdown passes without an interception. There was never much doubt that Flacco would be back with the Ravens in 2013, whether it was via the franchise tag or a new contract.

2/4/2013 6:21:00 PM
Description: Super Bowl MVP Joe Flacco said "I'm a Raven for life" after defeating the 49ers in Super Bowl XLVII Sunday at the Superdome in New Orleans.
Insight: Flacco (22-for-33, 287 yards, 3 TD in the Super Bowl) produced arguably the greatest postseason ever by an NFL quarterback in 2012, throwing 11 touchdown passes without an interception. Flacco will be a free agent after the season but there's little doubt about where he'll play next season. He might not be a Raven for life but Flacco should be in purple and black for a long time.

Description: Baltimore general manager Ozzie Newsome guaranteed that quarterback Joe Flacco will be with the Ravens next season. SOURCE: CBS Sports
Insight: The implication was that Flacco would be given the franchise tag while the team worked out a long-term deal. Flacco has been excellent this postseason, recording a 114.7 QB rating in three games.

1/28/2013 9:10:00 PM
Description: According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Baltimore QB Joe Flacco is hoping for a larger contract than Peyton Manning when he becomes a free agent after the season.
Insight: Manning makes $19.2 million annually so it sounds like Flacco is hoping for at least $20 million. There's no way Flacco deserves to be paid as much as Peyton but guiding the Ravens to the Super Bowl certainly granted him a bit more leverage on that front. It would be an upset if Flacco plays for anyone other than Baltimore in 2013.

1/12/2013 9:47:00 PM
Description: Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco sent Peyton Manning and the Broncos packing from the playoffs Saturday with 331 yards, three touchdowns and zero interceptions in a double-overtime win.
Insight: Flacco only completed 52.9 percent of his passes but hit on a number of deep balls to average 9.7 yards for attempt. The quarterback has led the Ravens to the AFC Championship game in three of his five NFL seasons.

1/6/2013 8:16:00 PM
Description: Ravens QB Joe Flacco wasn't particularly accurate Sunday against the Colts (just 12-of-23 passing) but he still managed to throw for 282 yards and a pair of touchdowns as Baltimore captured a 24-9 victory.
Insight: Running backs Bernard Pierce (13 carries, 103 yards) and Ray Rice (70 yards on 15 rushes) both had productive games, which took some of the pressure off of Flacco and the passing game. Flacco and the Ravens will head to Denver next week. Flacco had two touchdowns and 254 yards passing when he played the Broncos earlier in the season (Denver won, 34-17).
