Montgomery, AL (SportsNetwork.com) - Jahaad Coleman rushed for two touchdowns, including a 78-yarder with 1:32 remaining that punctuated the Alabama State Hornets' 41-28 win over the Stillman Tigers in the 90th Turkey Day Classic.
Coleman totaled 150 yards on 17 carries for the Hornets (8-4), which scored the game's final 20 points.
Alabama State quarterback Daniel Duhart completed 15-of-27 passes for 186 yards with two touchdowns. However, he did throw two interceptions, one of which was returned 33 yards for a touchdown by Greg Abrams. The score gave Stillman (6-5), a Division II program, a 28-21 lead less than two minutes into the second half.
The Tigers had tied the game 14 seconds earlier on Dondre Purnell's 77-yard touchdown grab.
Duhart atoned for the miscue by throwing an 11-yard TD pass to Brandon Barnes, knotting the game at 28-all with 7:29 left in the third quarter.
Bobby Wenzig then kicked a pair of field goals, the second giving Alabama State a six-point lead with 9:30 to play.
Duhart also lost a fumble in the first half that was returned for a touchdown by Stillman, which erased a 14-0 deficit.
A 1-yard TD run by Chris Gilzeane gave the Hornets a 21-14 halftime lead.
