Rams conclude preseason with win over Ravens

St. Louis, MO (Sports Network) - Chase Reynolds caught a 17-yard touchdown pass from Austin Davis late in the fourth quarter as the St. Louis Rams took a 24-21 win over the Baltimore Ravens to finish the preseason.

Davis had two fourth quarter touchdown passes and finished the game 6-for-13 for 50 yards. Kellen Clemens started the game and was 13-for-18 for 188 yards for the Rams, who were 1-3 in the preseason.

St. Louis, which went 7-9 last season, starts the season at home against Arizona in an NFC West battle.

Caleb Hanie played the whole game under center and was 20-for-39 for 272 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions for the Ravens, who went 2-2 in the preseason.

Baltimore begins the defense of its Super Bowl in Denver next Thursday.

Nick Johnson caught a 4-yard score from Davis early in the fourth quarter for a 17-14 lead, but Baltimore countered with a 50-yard TD catch by Marlon Brown just over two minutes later to give the team a 21-17 lead.

Reynolds' TD catch with under three minutes to play made it a 24-21 game, and the Rams picked off Hanie on a deep pass late in the contest to seal the victory.

Bobby Rainey ran in a score from a yard out to give Baltimore a 7-0 lead halfway though the first quarter, and St. Louis countered with a 46-yard field goal from Greg Zuerlein to get the team on the board.

A Zac Stacy 1-yard TD run with under six minutes to play in the first half made it a 10-7 game in favor of St. Louis, but Rainey's 8-yard TD run inside of a minute to play gave the Ravens a 14-10 lead at the break.
