Description: Wide receiver Antonio Bryant lasted less than two weeks with Seattle.
Insight: Bryant had not played since 2009 with Tampa Bay. When his knee was healthy he showed plenty of talent and his second half of 2008 was one of the best in the NFL at the time including 435 yards and four touchdowns during the fantasy playoffs (Week 13-16). Unfortunately, that was almost four years ago. The Seahawks signing of Braylon Edwards said it all.

Description: Antonio Bryant (knee) says he's progressing and is targeting Week 1 for his return.
Insight: Even when he returns, he?ll find his position has been usurped by Terrell Owens. Bryant is just not a very good fantasy bet this season. (RapidDraft.com)

Description: There is belief that the Bengals are "prepared to move on" without WR Antonio Bryant. SOURCE: NEWSDAY
Insight: Considering the team gave Bryant a $7 million signing bonus in March, we'd be surprised to see owner Mike Brown eat that up and release Bryant outright. If he stays or goes, owners shouldn't be looking Bryant's way regardless.

Description: Bengals WR Antonio Bryant still hasn't practiced since the first day of training camp because of a knee injury. SOURCE: CINCINNATI ENQUIRER
Insight: With Terrell Owens in the mix, anything the team can get from Bryant in the regular season will be a huge plus. That is if he actually plays. There is still a chance the team could release Bryant with an injury settlement or place him on injured reserve.

Description: NFL Network's Jason La Canfora has joined the Cincinnati Enquirer in reporting that it's a "distinct possibility" Antonio Bryant will be released by the Bengals with an injury settlement. SOURCE: NFL.COM
Insight: Bryant is now two seasons removed from his huge 2008 season and it doesn't look like he'll be returning to form any time soon. He should be avoided in all fantasy formats from here on out.

8/5/2010 7:23:00 PM
Description: The Bengals are reportedly waiting to see what Antonio Bryant (knee) can do over the final three preseason games before they solidify his offensive role.
Insight: This news does nothing to allay fears about Bryant's fantasy viability. He should be crossed off your list until he proves he is healthy. (RapidDraft.com)

Description: The Bengals are expected to take a wait-and-see approach with WR Antonio Bryant (knee) and what he can do over the final three preseason games before they give him an offensive role. SOURCE: BENGALS.COM
Insight: The team's official site says the coaching staff wants to know if Bryant can give them anything this year before they "decide to cut some younger players." Even if Bryant does show something, his expected role in the slot won't be that productive.

8/3/2010 11:08:00 PM
Description: Despite missing a sixth straight practice on Monday, Antonio Bryant insists he's encouraged with the progress on his troublesome left knee.
Insight: Bryant?s injury has the look of being a season-long concern. No one should be counting on him to do much in terms of fantasy. (RapidDraft.com)

8/3/2010 10:42:00 PM
Description: Antonio Bryant is listed ahead of Terrell Owens on the Bengals' first depth chart.
Insight: This makes little sense as the whole reason Owens was signed was because of worries about Bryant?s health. Expect T.O to suit up as a starter next to his buddy Ochocinco on Opening Day. (RapidDraft.com)

8/1/2010 2:39:00 PM
Description: Antonio Bryant (knee) is sitting out a fourth straight practice Saturday night.
Insight: Between missed practices and the Bengals signing Terrell Owens, Bryant's knee issue is becoming impossible to ignore now. Fantasy owners should think twice before investing in him. (RapidDraft.com)

Description: Antonio Bryant (knee) practiced Thursday morning but will not take part in the nighttime session of two-a-days.
Insight: There are a lot of questions about Bryant's health, but the fact that he can practice at all is a good sign. Keep tabs on this situation. (RapidDraft.com)

7/29/2010 7:37:00 PM
Description: Antonio Bryant will open training camp on the practice field, according to Bengals.com and Profootballtalk.com
Insight: That's an optimistic statement considering the team felt the need to add Terrell Owens to the fold. Bryant's fantasy value is now diminished by Owens' presence. (RapidDraft.com)

Insight: Bryant didn't have a ton of fantasy value. But with Terrell Owens in town, whatever value Bryant did have plummeted like a rock.

Description: Bengals WR Antonio Bryant's surgically-repaired knee was reportedly still a "problem" this offseason. SOURCE: TWITTER
Insight: Cue up the TO rumors again. Bryant was bothered by the knee all of last year and barely did anything in offseason workouts. Carson Palmer has recently worked out with Owens and Ochocinco already hinted that he is looking forward to playing with Owens this year. Some in the media have a deal in place soon, while others deny the Bengals have any interest. It's something to keep an eye on in the days leading up to training camp. As for Bryant, we would be very nervous if we had him on our roster right now.

Description: Antonio Bryant has been resting his surgically repaired knee during offseason practices.
Insight: Bryant struggled all of last season with knee issues, but, if he's healthy, he should be in line for a bounce back campaign. Check in on him often over the summer. (sportsBuff.com)

3/10/2010 7:29:00 PM
Description: The Bengals signed Bryant to a four year contract.
Insight: This move increases Carson Palmer's fantasy viability tremendously. Bryant can go deep and should be an instant hit in Cincy. (SportsBuff.com)

Description: The Tampa Tribune reports Bryant will visit the Redskins.
Insight: Bryant visited the Bengals on Tuesday, and the Dolphins also reportedly have some interest in him. (SportsBuff.com)
