Description: Twins outfielder Sam Fuld (concussion) was evaluated on Wednesday in Pittsburgh and it was termed "positive" but there is still no timetable for his return. SOURCE: Twins beat writer Mike Berardino.
Insight: Fuld has never shown any indication of being fantasy worthy. He's batting .232 with a homer and seven RBI this season.

Description: The Twins have placed outfielder Sam Fuld (concussion) on the 7-day disabled list.
Insight: The Twins have four outfielders on the DL: Josh Willingham, Aaron Hicks, Oswaldo Arcia and Fuld. Infielder Eduardo Escobar started in center field Thursday at Cleveland.

Description: The Twins were able to claim outfielder Sam Fuld, who was recently placed on waivers. SOURCE: Ken Rosenthal, Fox Sports
Insight: Fuld was designated for assignment by Oakland about a week ago. Even if Fuld becomes an everyday player, which is certainly possible in Minnesota's lackluster outfield, he won't be much of a fantasy option (.233 average in 743 career at bats).

Description: A's outfielder Sam Fuld will start for Coco Crisp in center Monday afternoon against Minnesota.
Insight: Fuld has batted .308 through the first three games with a .973 OPS. He stole 20 bases once with Tampa Bay (2011), but has never proven to be an everyday player.

Description: The A's have invited former Rays outfielder Sam Fuld to spring training. SOURCE: Ken Rosenthal, Fox Sports
Insight: With Yoenis Cespedes and Coco Crisp occupying left and center field respectively, Fuld's best chance to make the team will be as a right fielder. Even if Josh Reddick or Craig Gentry beats him out for the starting job, it's possible that Oakland will hold onto Fuld as a reserve, though he wouldn't have any fantasy value in that role.

7/26/2012 10:53:00 PM
Description: Tampa Bay right fielder Sam Fuld led the Rays with three hits Thursday against Baltimore.
Insight: Fuld is now 5-for-9 with two RBIs since coming off the disabled list on Tuesday.

4/3/2012 3:30:00 PM
Description: Sam Fuld had successful wrist surgery on Tuesday.
Insight: Fuld will miss four to five months so don't think about adding him to your roster until then.

4/2/2012 4:04:00 PM
Description: Sam Fuld will have surgery on his injured wrist Tuesday. Fuld is expected to miss 4-5 months.
Insight: With B.J. Upton still injured from his collision with Desmond Jennings, Fuld would have been a starter for the Rays had he stayed healthy. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like Fuld will be back in Tampa's lineup until late August or even early September. Fuld's only real fantasy asset is his stolen bases. He had 20 of those in 105 games last season.
