NCAA Game Summary - Manhattan at Stony Brook

Stony Brook, NY (Sports Network) - Kidani Brutus led all scorers with 25 points, as the Manhattan Jaspers edged the Stony Brook Seawolves in overtime, 64-63, as part of BracketBuster weekend at Pritchard Gymnasium.
George Beamon added 23 points for the Jaspers (6-22), while Demetrius Jemison grabbed a game-high 11 rebounds to go along with his seven points.
Marcus Rouse paced Stony Brook (11-16) with 15 points off the bench, and Bryan Dougher chipped in with 11 points in the loss.
Both teams shot 33.3 percent from the floor in the opening half, although it was Stony Brook grabbing a 31-25 halftime lead after closing the period with a 7-2 spurt.
The Seawolves led by as many as 11 midway through the second half, but Manhattan went on to shoot 57.1 percent from the floor in the frame and forced overtime on a jumper by Beamon with 31 seconds on the clock.
Brutus hit a pair of three-pointers in the extra session, the second of which gave the Jaspers the lead for good. Stony Brook had the final look at a potential game-winner, but Dougher could not get his layup to fall as time expired.
The Seawolves struggled to find the bottom of the net throughout the game, as they shot just 35.6 percent from the floor and went 15-of-27 (55.6 percent) at the foul line.
