Insight: It's the second time this year he's been suspended, though the last one was overturned on appeal. Goldson, who will appeal again, may not be so lucky this time around. The Buccaneers' next game is against Detroit.

Insight: Goldson's return will make it tougher for the struggling Patriots passing game to rebound from their poor performance last week.

Insight: He initiated a helmet-to-helmet collision, which is something the league has been trying to crack down on in recent seasons. Goldson says that he will appeal the suspension.

Insight: The league is trying to discourage head-hunting, which is why they are making an example out of Goldson. The two-time Pro Bowler had seven tackles in the opener.

Insight: Along with the wrist injury, Goldson dealt with a slightly torn plantar fascia in his foot and a deep bruise in right kneecap. Despite this, Goldson has yet to miss a snap. He is still an IDP option because of his tackles, but he has yet to record an interception, sack or forced fumble.
