Hanley RamirezSSIt appears that the Red Sox are prepared to wait as long as a week to see if left fielder Hanley Ramirez improves before placing him on the 15-day disabled list according to the Boston Herald.Ramirez ran into the side wall at Fenway Park on Monday and strained his shoulder, but he has been feeling better since the incident. If Ramirez is still not ready to play after six or seven days, the Red Sox can retroactively place him on the DL to open up a roster spot. Stay tuned.5/6/2015 10:10:00 AM

Hanley RamirezSSRed Sox left fielder Hanley Ramirez's MRI revealed there was no structural damage to his shoulder according to CSN New England.Ramirez crashed into the side wall at Fenway Park on Monday and left the game with a shoulder sprain. The good news is Ramirez felt better on Tuesday and the MRI found nothing major wrong. He should be able to avoid the disabled list, but he will miss at least a few games this week. Owners would like him back as soon as possible because Ramirez is hitting .283 with 10 home runs and 22 RBI in 92 at-bats this season.5/5/2015 4:46:00 PM
